I’ll be honest: I love a flavor combo concept device mashup. Take a couple things I love, but never saw pairing up? Irresistible. Chicken tikka masala quesadilla? All day.
Air fryer jalapeño Caesar chicken crunch wrap? All day every day.
OK, so I know the whole interest is obsessed with chicken-Caesar everything lately, and it just made sense to package up in a little tortilla envelope, crisp up the outside, melt the gooey cheese on the inside, kick up the flavor with a little spice, and take it to go.
But even I was a little suspicious of the end results. One of those recipes where I go in hoping it’s going to work, but with my expectations low. The first bite of this? I slammed it down on the counter and forced my social media manager and recipe tester to try it, too. The hallmark of a really surprisingly good recipe.
Here’s why you’ll like it:
Did I mention it’s portable? I love a handheld moment (Just not when restaurants trying to be fancy try to rename sandwiches).
It’s creamy, cheesy, and a little spicy and tart.
Plenty of chicken for protein.
It’s made in the air fryer with leftover cooked chicken, making it a perfect speedy dinner or lunch.
For ultimate Crunch Wrap authenticity, you can layer a crunchy tostada in there, too, but I usually make these with just a large tortilla and all the fillings for ease. I’ll do anything for ease, pretty much.
This recipe will be part of my signature No-Brainer Meal Plan formula in the March Issue for paid subscribers. Each meal plan follows this formula:
1 “Sunday roast” - large-format protein you’ll eat fresh once, then…
2 roast remixes - recipes that use leftovers from the Sunday roast meal
2 slow cooker meals with elevated Millennial flavors. Not cream-of soups, bricks of cream cheese, or slop textures
2 very quick & easy recipes - usually an air fryer, Instant Pot, or sheet pan meal, to get dinner on the table fast.
This formula makes sure each week of dinners is
Extremely affordable. The February Issue’s meal plan covers a week of dinners for 4 people for $90!!! That’s like 90s pricing right there.
Very easy… but still delicious. We utilize smart strategy to get the most out of your time in the kitchen.
Very quick, because you’re already late for the kids’ play rehearsal. The meal plans combine smart usage of the slow cooker, leftovers, and other kitchen rock stars to make dinner the least stressful part of your day.

OK - let’s make it.
